Romare Bearden vs Fred Tomaselli

Romare Bearden and Fred Tomaselli almost have identical paintings. Both of their work have many different faces, eyes, nose, and mouth. They both mixed and matched every part to someone's face, eyes, nose, or mouth. It is very interesting to see. However Fred Tomaselli's painting looks more as a painting than Romare Bearden's painting. It is because Romare Bearden has a dark shading due to his pencil he used to draw his painting. On the other hand, Romare Bearden only used paint to draw his painting. Fred Tomaselli's painting has much more of a color than Romare Bearden's painting. Fred Tomaselli used more of a red tone and Romare Bearden used more a dark tone. In Romare Bearden's painting I believe he used the dark tone because his people in this paintings look African American. Where as, Fred Tomaselli looks like a different kinds of race, but made into one white man. Although I like both of the artists' paintings. I like Fred Tomaselli's painting because it is cool because he painted only one man, only his face and his shoulders with differents kinds of body parts and other kinds of objects. It looks kind of weird because this is a human being, but we do not see this in a human. We only see this in art.
