Raphael vs Manuel Alvarez Bravo

The two art from the artists are angels. Raphael's oil painting has maybe a mother of two angels playing with the cross.  This oil painting has lots of light. Darkness has an image of evil, in this case light has an image of good, angels. Also the oil painting has lots of bright colors. The family are also very pale, which means very innocent. However, Manuel Alvarez Bravo art work is a photograph. His photograph is in gray scale, however because of the sunlight shinning it has a white scale also. Also like Raphael's oil painting, Manuel Alvarez Bravo's photograph have angels in his photograph. Again projecting an image of good innocent angels. However, in his photograph these angels are stature and in Raphael's oil paintings they look almost real. Although Manuel Alvarez Bravo's photograph is black and white, his picture effects give the photograph an image of the angels being good.  I'm pretty sure he made the effects like that.  I like both art works because in Raphael's oil painting I really like the bright colors and I like Manuel Alvarez Bravo's photograph because I like photographs that are black and white. I have been in a photograph and I used black and white photo paper.  It was very cool because we live in a world of colors and now with digital color photograph lots of people do not get a chance to use of black and white photo paper or photograph.
